"David Virgo brings energy to the stage when he leads our FCA worship. His passion for Jesus and for ministry through music is so evident with every chord he plays and every word he sings."

- Marilou Braswell, FCA National Director of Cheerleading.

"Our people have loved every time David has led worship at Harvest Cathedral.       David is a true worshipper; he's gifted in leading and writing [songs], personable from the platform, and a joy to be around when the services are over. We highly recommend him!"

- Steve Sawyer, Senior Pastor of Harvest Cathedral, Macon, Ga.

"David is a humble, skilled, gifted and God fearing artist with a lot of passion and desire to lead worship and lead others to worship. His humility and passion cannot be matched and his love for the audience as he leads worship is remarkable. He is a team player who functions well with others and is emotionally intelligent, most of all David is a prayerful person that is totally dependent on God, not his gifting...."

- Amoke Luke, Director of Teens for Christ, Nairobi, Kenya.

At a young age, David has always had a strong passion for expressing himself through music. "Music has a way of bringing out the things your heart really wants to say that words alone can’t measure up to" he expresses. After his move from Paterson, New Jersey to Athens, Georgia, it was at his home church, Cornerstone Church | Athens, that he found a love greater than music which was the act of pouring his heart song unto the Lord. It is the act of worship that was life-changing then and is still prominent now. Finding his faith when he was five and becoming fully committed to his walk with Christ at age thirteen are two milestones which have become fundamental components in the person he is today. On this endeavor, the mentors that have stepped into David’s life have been influential and truly are to be accredited for the eminent characteristics displayed in his life.

David currently attends Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee where he is pursuing a degree in Pastoral Ministries. After studying at Lee, he desires to be a Worship Leader serving in a ministry that is effective where the Lord can use him best. He believes that worship is a response. "It should be a response to not only what the Lord has done in the lives of those who love Him, but simply a response to the fact that He is worthy of everything we have to offer. When we sing our praises to the Lord, we are reminded of the greatness He encompasses. Praise and worship makes our faith stronger which urges God to move on our behalf."

David released his debut EP Unreserved on August 1, 2016. "I wanted for the songs on this project to be an invitation to freedom" David expresses. "We all have things in our lives, weather they be from the past or present, that fight so hard to cripple us and take our focus off of the one thing that really matters. Jesus Christ. It is through Him that we live, we move, and have our being. While working on this project, my hope for these songs was that they would be used as tools and reminders that He alone is fit to sit on the throne of our hearts. If we have Him, we have everything and He makes life worth living." You can be expecting more music from David in the near future.

David says "There is power in our words. If we take God's word and put it to lyric, through song, people can find strength for the battles and tribulations they are going through. I hope the songs I write will become anthems or declarations that will help them in overcoming these obstacles. I want to see people set free and truly find their identity in Christ and music has the ability to help people achieve that goal." Desiring to be remembered as a person who is honest, integrous, vulnerable, and intentional David is working hard in achieving these goals set before him. His music, through Christ, will resonate with and impact those who listen to these songs of faith, hope, and love unto the Father. This purpose is for the advancement of the Kingdom and the Glory of God.
